FROSKR is a niche environmental consulting firm working in Northern Ontario, based in Sudbury. With primarily mining clients, FROSKR is proud advocate for the important role mining plays in addressing our generation’s greatest challenge: Climate Change.

This talk discusses the journey of a mature start-up born in the middle of the pandemic that has scaled to support some of the largest mining companies in the world. FROSKR believes that Northern Ontario is the key to showing the world that mining can have net positive environmental impacts and holds true to its vision: SUSTAINABILITY. Kati is the Founding President of FROSKR. Kati holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Masters in Chemical Sciences and MBA from Laurentian University. She has over 16 years experience within the environmental field and highly engaged in her community, Kati is Past Chair of the Cambrian College Board of Governors, and currently serves as a Director with both the Greater Sudbury Hydro Inc. Board of Directors and the Health Science North Board of Directors.
